8.12. The union of the Swan and the Serpente is the highest magic operation, that is permitted only to Initiates in a special degree. The Serpent takes away the Blue Lotus and the Sacred Fire; the Swan takes away two recipients: one with milk, other with water -- and also the Egg of Creation, full of seeds of Good and Evil.

The Initiates properly prepared and commited with the Secret Great Work, can enter with connexion with these great beings. Swan and Serpent show themselves: She interlaces him from up to down, supporting the Egg with her tail, which extends  under the Swan. This visualization gives great Power, that has to be used with wisdom, to help the performing of the Great Work, and never to obstruct the Mission. The Sacred Swan, Hansa, when raising its Magical  Flight, makes with wisdom the moisture of water and milk, turning them into a true Source of Energy. Together with the Blue Lotus of Mother Earth, this Milk turns itself into a High Illumination Essence, for those who had become worthy of this Supreme Benediction.

There is mystery because the majority is not prepared to know certain realities, which for this reason are unveiled only to the ones that, mastering several stages, have reached the level where they can be disclosed.

This matter is here expressed in order to  stimulate a healthy curiosity in the mind of the student, making him persevere, in the practice of the austerities, readings and meditations, in the hope that some day he can come back and exclaim: "Is it really this?!".

When this turns to happen, his Guru will be ready to give him the corresponding Degree, recognizing his efforts, with gladness for the Victory he has conquered.
