The Sacred Tree, when distributing its fruits to the disciples, does it wisely: to some, it gives fruits that make them understand the benefits of the Direct Way; to others, it gives fruits that make them revive from the External Self to the Inner Self; and to others it gives fruits that make them wise, humble and preachers of the New Doctrine. (The New Doctrine - 4.10.) We can understand the Sacred Tree as the Cosmic Nature acting on human beings. It benefits each one according to his merits and necessities. To the one that is beginning his way, it gives the light of discernment, to know how to choose his right course and direction. To the one that has entered the sanctuary of the conscious evolution, the Tree facilitates the immersion in the Self, which is conquered through Meditation, that leads to Samadhi. As to the Yogi, who has reached the plain understanding of the Doctrine and of the Utmost Reality, it gives the Sacred Mission of preaching the Teachings of the New Doctrine, in order that others can reach the same high stage.
