Genesis of Rosa Maria´s artistic work on Van Gogh

Since when in secondary school, Rosa Maria appreciated the work of Antonio Parreiras, well known Brazilian painter, that she knew when she was a pupil of his son, Dakir Parreiras, who taught drawing at the Liceu Nilo Peçanha, in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro State, Brazil.

One day, in October, 2005, Rosa Maria impetuosly tried to catch some aspects of nature, painting several canvases..

This work, beginning in 2005, evolved and assumed a special shape in the next year. She got astonished with the result of this work, because of the similitude with Vincent van Gogh production during his time life!  Yes, she started producing some paintings very much similar with those of Van Gogh, without loooking to their reproductions! And started producing others, completely differente, but with the very peculiar style of the Master, and with his technique!

Since then  we have seen the multiplication of the paintings!...

Rosa Maria works with joy and dedication. The paintings are in some ways similar to those Van Gogh has produced, but others, although in the same style, are totally different from all the Master has produced.

Her aim is to contribute to make the work of the Master even more appreciated by a increasing number of people who in near future will be able to have in their homes and/or working places, some of  precious canvas with  amazing paintings in that style that the world never forgets!
